hey guys for this video we're going to take a look at this led headlamp by e guku they were nice enough to send me this item for free so i can make this video showing it to you it is a rechargeable headlamp you can see it uses a usb-c cable which is included that one back there we have the adjustable strap it's got a silicone outer shell i guess you would call it we have a cob led here we also have an led light over here if we look at the controls on the side we have the power button there are four modes you have high and low on this light high and low on this light actually you also have strobe so i guess there's five modes there's also a motion sensor which at first i didn't really think that would be important but now that i've played with it a little bit i really like the motion sensor so i'll show you that here in one second then we also have the little lightning bolt that is a charge indicator also it comes on when the light's on so i'll show you that here in a second your charge port is on the back just lift this little tab and there is your usb-c port and then on the inside it's got this little textured portion so it's just that silicone sleeve or i don't know what to call it still to turn it on let's hit power we have high on the cob hit it one more time now we're on low one more time high on the side led beam and then low on the side led beam the amazon listing says it is up to 1200 lumens now if we're at any on position we can press and hold the power button and you can see now we are into strobe mode just click to turn it off again when we have the light on you can see the indicator here is red now if i touch the motion sensor see it's kind of green and red i guess but it definitely changes color and then we just swipe our hand by it to turn it off turn it back on turn it off turn it back on you have to be within i would say three or four inches for it to work so like out here it doesn't work which is good if someone like walks by you or something goes by the side you know you don't want it going on and off all the time but as you get closer so if you're wearing this on your head just whoop whoop whoop and it always goes back to whichever one you had it on so let's say we turn it on and we want to go high on the side beam turn the motion sensor back on so it's actually really cool i'm going to try turning out all the lights in the room get it as dark as i can and we'll see how it looks now let's give it a little test i would say it's brighter than i first expected it would be there's that spotlight so great outside or even working on a car under a sink somewhere where it could be dark and you want to be hands-free really useful for something like that now after i've played with it for a while overall i like it there are two things that could be of a concern now for me with using the side light i wear glasses and the light either is hitting the side of the lens or maybe or it might be hitting the metal portion of my glasses over here anyway i see it in my peripheral vision the side light so i really can't wear my glasses and this but maybe if you had smaller narrower glasses or just i don't know but just something to be aware of on that and then the other thing is i wish the little silicone cover on the back here it just lays there there's nothing it doesn't i wish it had like a plug of some sort that would actually go into that port and it would actually seal it here because this thing is waterproof but i feel like with the thing just laying there that it couldn't get very wet before you have the potential anyway to get moisture inside that port which obviously wouldn't be good so i wish there was something that actually held it down other than those two things i've been pretty happy with it brighter than i thought i didn't think i'd like that motion sensor but now just how quick and easy is whoop whoop whoop whoop all right i'm done playing so there you go guys rechargeable led headlamp thanks for watching you
